In Trade What You See, Pesavento and Jouflas show traders how to identify patterns as they are developing and exactly where to place entry and exit orders. While some patterns derive from the techniques of Wall Street's earliest traders and other patterns reflect Pesavento's emphasis on the geometry of market movements and Fibonacci numbers..
Filled with hard-won knowledge gained through years of market experience, Trade What You See outlines both a practical and sophisticated approach to trading that will be of interest to both novice and seasoned traders alike. Larry Pesavento is a forty-year veteran trader.

Well You get some completely basics, which is kinda good though. And some very advanced patterns which I usually need so accurately setups. I look at gartley patterns and I see a double top which needs to be very accurate in the move down and the other top. I understand butterfly as a bo over former top.. However ofcourse I can miss some of the stuff, I like it simple.
I would point out that 50 is not a fibonacci number.

Shelves: trading. Decent book for beginners teaching the fundamentals of trading toward the end.
The stuff toward the beginning is mostly technical patterns like Gartleys, butterflies, and fibonaccis and "harmonic numbers", etc. I only give it a 2 star because I think several important aspects of trading were included, otherwise it would have been 1 star Jul 12, Abdullah Aljohani rated it liked it.
For a savvy trader, this book is not specific and doesn't provide enough depth that would make it great book. Mar 04, Jeremy rated it really liked it. Excellent introduction to harmonic pattern trading.

The pattern recognition approach he uses eliminates the random nature of market action.
